Here we are, the fourth and final week of Dare to DIY. I hope you guys have enjoyed it—I’ve loved having this extra bit of motivation to celebrate and get creative during the holidays.
This week’s theme is Dare to Deck the Halls, and the 4 co-hosts shared our projects on Friday.
Michelle sewed some burlap stockings for her holiday mantel:
Kim created a Noel sign and shared her outdoor décor:
Chelsea decorated her card catalog for Christmas:
And I showed off my first ever attempt at Christmas décor . . . a rustic, woodsy vignette:
And now it’s your turn to share . . . did you Dare to Deck the Halls?
DIY something new to deck your halls. Did you find something in a catalog that you wish you had? Wreaths, stockings, pillows or advent calendars? Make it! Inspire us all to do the same.
You can link up on any of our four blogs listed above (Décor and the Dog, NewlyWoodwards, Two Twenty One, or right here at Maybe Matilda). Link up as many projects as you wish, as long as the posts correspond with the theme of the week. The linky below will stay live through Wednesday. This Thursday, each of us will spotlight at least 3 projects we loved from the week on our blogs. We'll also pin those projects on our shared Pinterest board.
The only rules:
1. Please follow the Dare to DIY theme of the week (this week is Dare to Deck the Halls).
2. Please link back to Dare to DIY on one of our blogs.
3. Please go to at least one other blog and comment. This is a party. So get to know a few other bloggers.
Thank you so much for co-hosting this with us this year. What an honor to do it together!
ReplyDeleteOk loooove it! Love the burlap stockings.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comment on my glitzy mantel get-up! I love that you worked the Whoot Scentsy into your woodsy theme. He's my favorite warmer :) And I love your trees -- I was on a tree kick last year, and you've reignited my love for them!
ReplyDeleteI love your vignette! The garland hanging from a window is such a cute touch!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to try to go rustic but never had the guts to yet. Your first try is definitely GOOD! :-)
ReplyDeleteI have not decked the halls yet, but I love all the featured projects and they have inspired me to get some decorating done. Love the rustic vignette and the burlap stockings!

You completed some nice points there. I did a search on the subject matter and found the majority of folks will go along with with your blog.

I like your first white fireplace! And the cute card catalog is stunning! I'm imagining of putting my craft materials and accessories in there. I believe it's a must-have in every home, those small pockets can help you in organizing with so many ways!
