This week’s theme for Dare to DIY was Dare to Entertain, and you guys brought it! It’s always so fun and inspiring to look through everyone’s projects. A double-edged sword, I guess, because I love the ideas and inspiration, but I end up adding about 15 projects to my never-ending DIY to-do list. And we all know what happens when you have a never-ending DIY to-do list: nothing. Nothing happens. I never get around to making any of it. (sigh) How about you just pack up your projects and ship them to me as a little Christmas present, hmm? That works for me.
I wanted to share two projects in particular that I really loved . . . Cindy at Made 2 Style set up the most beautiful table for Thanksgiving in this lovely neutral, nature-inspired color scheme. I love how she included natural elements like the pumpkins and pinecones, and how she combined rustic touches with the gold glam. So pretty! Visit her post HERE for more pictures and info.
And Katja from Shift Ctrl Art made the most adorable Silhouette Christmas trees to decorate her table with. I love the mix of the modern tree shape with the natural wood stump . . . such a cool combo! She even made the tree template a free download, so head over to her post HERE to make some yourself.
Next week’s challenge is Dare to Give Handmade, hosted by Décor and the Dog! Do you have any handmade gifts in mind for your holiday gift-giving? Get busy working on them this weekend and head to Décor and the Dog on Monday to share your work. Here’s a little peek at my handmade project . . . I’m loving this cute and cozy flannel reindeer print. Come back Monday to see what I’m making with it.
Thanks so much for the love!! This series is too much fun!
