Back in November I posted a sneak peek of something I'd been working on . . . and now, 3 months later, I finally got around to finishing it up and taking pictures. I'm a little bit slow-moving, I guess. So sue me.
Anyway, here's what I wish I could say I'd been working hard on for the past 3 months instead of mostly neglecting and occasionally thinking, "I really need to finish that up":Cute little embroidery hoop art! We've got a little lady ready to take off with her red balloon, aaand . . .. . . a little girl and robot lovey-dovey friendship. Cute, huh? And is it just me, or do you hear "Number five . . . aliiiiiiiiiiiive!" when you think of a robot in love? Which I'm sure you do. Frequently.
I have a few more to put the finishing touches on as well. These are so fun to make--I made them freehand using my sewing machine (I'm definitely not much of a hand-stitcher) with a free motion/embroidery foot and fabric scraps left over from other projects. You can see more pictures here.
**Would anyone be interested in a tutorial on how to make these? Because I was toying with the idea of making one, but I don't want to take a billion pictures and write it all up if no one cares :-)
that robot love is the most adorable thing i have ever seen.
