Deck the Halls Features

Once again, so many awesome projects and ideas were linked up to this week’s Dare to DIY challenge! Hop over to this post if you want to visit the link list for dozens of great holiday ideas. I loved so many of them, but here are 3 of my very favorites.

DIY Seasonal Art from Andrea + Kris + Our Chaos:

Her regular art didn’t jive with her holiday colors this year, so she just whipped up new art. I can’t even imagine how this project would look if I attempted it. Wait . . . yes I can. A million points to Andrea for being awesome!

Santa Wreath from Cindi at This is My Life:

Such a cute, different take on a traditional Christmas wreath.

And I must have wreaths on the brain, because I was also really drawn to this Winter Wreath made by Naptime DIY:

I love her untraditional color choices—they look perfectly wintry, so this wreath will make great décor even after Christmas!

Thanks to everyone who participated throughout the Dare to DIY series . . . I loved the extra motivation to create during this busy time of year, the inspiration of seeing your ideas, and being able to check out your great work! Thank you all for joining in!

  1. Those four pieces are spectacular. I love how it is kind of a chevron, yet kind of not at the same time.

That Santa wreath caught my eye as well. It's just such a neat idea and I love how it turned out.

Love the last wreath too. I could see this going into January as well. It has a great crafty mod vibe too it. I love that!
