How do you like my latest necklace?
I know, it's pretty rad (I'm not entirely sure that I'm the sort of person who can pull off the word "rad," but I'm giving it a shot anyway. Did it work?).
I'm guest posting today over at the lovely Kelly's blog, Running With Glitter, with the tutorial to make it! So head on over, check it out, and tell her I say hi!
And get excited, because Kelly's bringing her awesomeness this way next week with a cool project for you!

RACHEL! That is awesome!!!! It totally dresses up a plain t-shirt (which, I'm sure, was the point...;)) - gonna make one this weekend...you are adorable!
ReplyDeleteIt's darling! And you can totally pull it off!

ReplyDeleteYou do make me chuckle! Yes you can totally get away with saying rad. I loved you recent post about getting to know you, you're a hoot. xxx
ReplyDeleteO wow, that's awesome--and rad!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO rad! It's absolutely gorgeous! I almost wish I hadn't thrifted this crazy panda tie my boyfriend's parents sent him as a joke. Pandas would make it even more rad. Haha. Your blog is so gorgeous! And you have an amazing talent.

I plan to go check it out at Running with Glitter, but first I have to say that I LOOOOOOOOVE the necklace, and what a FABULOUS idea! And yes, you totally pulled off rad.
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely rad.. and definitely uniquely gorgeous. You can pull off both the word rad and that necklace easily. And how could anyone find a more perfect model.
ReplyDeleteYou really are talented.
#1. That is a cool idea.
ReplyDelete#2. Rad is way easier to pull off than "boom shaka lacka" which is currently my 2 year old's favorite word.
What a fun idea, I love how you turned a masculine necktie into something so fun, chic, and wearable!
ReplyDeleteso creative! It's time to raid my husband's closet...

ReplyDeleteI checked out the tutorial... I love this! Time to learn how to sew button holes on my sewing machine. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI tried it! http://ofpinksandfairytales.blogspot.com/2011/05/pleated-tie-necklace-from-maybe-matilda.html
ReplyDeleteThanks again! :)
So cute! That would be a horrible tie, but such a cute necklace. I just bought four 50 cent ties to make some necklaces that I saw in a magazine.
