You know the blog Simple Simon and Co., right? If you don't, where have you been? You're missing out big time.
It's an awesome read written by two sisters-in-law who share a name and a love for all things vintage, girly, and handsewn.

I was tickled pink when Elizabeth and Liz invited me to be a part of their Vintage Crafter's Challenge a few weeks ago! Here's the scoop: they sent out packages of vintage goodies to some crafty bloggers--the packages contained vintage fabric and notions, and our mission was to create something amazing using our packages.
And today is my day! Head over to Simple Simon and Co. to see what I came up with for their challenge!
i loved it!! the colors were fab! is there anything you can't do?
ReplyDeleteAwesome as usual! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteFirst off LOVE your new header! ...and your hoop art is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove it! You did such a great job! I really love the colors and of course that it is another hoop art piece!
ReplyDeleteKaitlin @ The Goodey Knot
Excellent work, as usual! And Bekah did a great job on your header and buttons!
ReplyDeleteRachel, I really do love the whole idea of your project. It is so cute and so perfect for the items we sent. (And I'm not being all girly, gushy, screamy complimentary---I really just honestly love it.)
ReplyDeleteYou said vintage fabrics remind you of a friendlier, happy time. Me to. Maybe that's why I like them so much.
And I have to tell you that I will be attempting to steal the idea and make some hoops to hang on the wall around where I sew. I know I would love it if I can just figure out how to do it.
Thanks again for joining us and for the awesome idea.
