All right, friends, this is a good one. Not only do I really love this shop, but Amanda herself has swiftly become one of my absolute favorite internet folks who leaves me simultaneously loving the blog world (how else would I have "met" her?) and cursing it (dude, she lives 4 states away . . . that's a lot of states).

Amanda blogs about her fantastic sewing projects over here at Simply Homemade, but let's chat about her beautiful etsy shop, Amanda's Beans. She kindly sent me a little package of her products so I could pass on the lovin' to you nice people, and look what I got in the mail!

There lie what are quite possibly the two cutest things I own right now . . . an adorable yellow clutch (perfect for a little date night) and beautiful zipper pouch (how thoughtful to include a pouch made using crochet notions! Mmmm, how I do love pretty crochet!). 

My favorite part about these beautiful items is that they're lovely on the outside, as you can plainly see, but the inside?

The linings are fantastic! I love the dainty floral print lining the clutch, and the little sectioned pocket is perfect for storing a credit card and your lip gloss. (And how cute is the little tag?!)

And you never would have guessed that this bold and funky print was hiding inside of that sweet ladylike pouch, would you? It's like a fun little surprise waiting for me every time I open it up.

And as a seamstress who will begrudgingly admit to cutting corner and taking shortcuts wherever I can find them (terrible, I know, but I only do it when I'm keeping them for myself!), I was delighted to find that these items are so well-made.

 

I have no doubt that these little numbers will be lasting a long, long time--they're sewn so beautifully. I think Amanda and I need to make a 4-state road trip and have a sewing date so she can teach me to stop being a sewing slacker.

And amidst all this girliness, she even included a little somethin' for Forrest!

You would not believe all the compliments he got on his adorable tie when he wore it to church yesterday.
